The First Stakeholder’s Meeting for the implementation of the Philippines Chemical Industry Roadmap 2023-2028: Enabling Industry Linkages, Sustainability, Safer Materials and Operations, and Productivity was held on April 03, 2024, at the BOI, Makati City. We are honored by the presence of Executive Director Maria Corazon Halili- Dichosa of the Board of Investments as Government Co-Chair with SPIK President Engr. Gretchen Fontejon- Enarle as Industry Co-Chair. The meeting was also attended by representatives from SPIK, PPCAI, PAPIM, APMP, PACSI, EPAP, FIAP assisted by the officers of BOI MIS led by Ms. June Villasanta.

It is noteworthy that SPIK through the leadership of former SPIK President Engr. Dennis Tirthdas and Senior SPIK Adviser Mr. Roberto “Bobby” Batungbacal spearheaded the updating of the Philippines Chemical Industry Roadmap in the first quarter of 2023 and completed in October 2023 through the assistance of Dr. Lawrence A. Limjuco as the Consultant. The completion was made possible through the support of the partner government agencies especially the DTI- BOI which co- funded the Project and the support of DOST- PCIEERD and DENR-EMB.
