Saltegra Consulting, under the leadership of President Engr. Michael Saura, recently
engaged in a strategic meeting with the Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika
(SPIK), helmed by President Engr. Gretchen F. Enarle together with Engr. Reinier Jay
Bagabay. The central theme of the discussion revolved around the advancement of
forthcoming projects in process safety management, a critical aspect in bolstering the
chemical industry’s resilience and sustainability.

In a significant move, the parties are set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, which will
serve as the foundation for a lineup of webinars on process safety, slated to commence in
2025. This collaborative endeavor is aligned with the objectives outlined in the Philippine
Chemical Industry Roadmap, which prioritizes the enhancement of safety protocols and
practices within the sector.

Both Saltegra Consulting and SPIK are optimistic about the future, anticipating a synergistic
partnership that is poised to yield substantial benefits for the chemical industry as a whole.
The meeting concluded on a high note, with a toast to the collaborative spirit that will underpin
their joint efforts towards a safer and more robust industrial landscape.
