The joint Working Group of the Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK) and the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers (PIChE) had its meeting last May 6, 2025. The general agenda was to arrange the final details for the upcoming seminar entitled “Responsible Care Awareness in the Philippines”(ReCAP). The purpose of this event is to provide knowledge, and commitment to environmental responsibility and safety in the chemical industry.

The seminar is also likely to be attended by all stakeholders including the government officials, industry leaders and academia. Discussions during the meeting encompassed finalizing and confirming venue arrangements and reviewing the program. Together, the efforts of the group should make the seminar a success and contribute to a more responsible, and informed, chemical sector in the country.
