
21 May SPIK-Bureau of Customs Enforcement Group Meeting: Building Partnerships for Trade Compliance
The Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK) met Atty. Teddy Sandy S. Raval, the Deputy Commissioner of the Enforcement Group at the Bureau of Customs on May 21, 2025. The purpose of the visit was mainly to invite Atty. Raval to the next General Membership Meeting scheduled on June 18, 2025. It is essential to note that the meeting took place in a peaceful and consultative environment, making it possible to identify a number of topics potentially suitable for cooperation and discussion. The meeting also highlighted the role of enforcement relevant for the chemical industry.
The SPIK delegation recognized the experience and achievements of Atty. Raval with customs law enforcement and expressed hope to meet him during the upcoming gathering. The message conveyed a sense of respect cultivated during the meeting and shared dedication to making customs work better for the country’s trade and security interests.
