The Output Presentation Year One of the Intelligent System for Sustainable and Secure Chemical Distribution Management (ISySS-CDM) project was conducted at the FEO Conference on April 14, 2026. The project, proposed by Caraga State University (CSU) and funded by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD), aimed to automate the application process for licenses and permits related to Controlled Chemicals in accordance with the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 9516.

The presentation highlighted the system’s capabilities to streamline the licensing process, enhance security measures, and ensure sustainable chemical distribution management. Attendees commended the project’s innovative approach and expressed optimism about its potential impact on regulatory processes and chemical industry standards.

SPIK was represented by Ms. Fae San Gabriel during the presentation, while Dr. Jaymer Jayoma delivered an overview of the milestones and accomplishments achieved in the first year of the project.
