To set the tone for the verification, Ms. Cielo Garcia, Regulatory Affairs Specialist, presented the company’s profile. She highlighted the company’s transition from Connell Bros. Co. Pilipinas, Inc. to Caldic Philippines, Inc., providing an overview of its business operations and organizational developments

Engr. Albert Samuela, SPIK Verifier, gave a brief presentation on the Responsible Care® initiative and the objectives and process of the Responsible Care Verification. The verification process consisted of a comprehensive review of relevant documents and records, inspection of facilities and operations, and discussions with the company’s authorized representatives to validate compliance with the Responsible Care Management System requirements.

Following the established verification procedures, the SPIK Verifiers evaluated the documents and records presented by Ms. Ria Pugay, QHSE Manager and ESG Lead – Philippines. During the assessment, Ms. Antonette Fallarme, SPIK Verifier, commended the company for its well-maintained compliance monitoring matrix, which effectively tracks regulatory requirements and submissions to the various government agencies.

As part of the verification, the team also inspected the company’s laboratory, where prototype formulations are developed and tested to meet clients’ specific requirements. The observations and findings gathered during the verification will be evaluated as part of the overall assessment and will serve as the basis for the completion of the Responsible Care Verification process and the corresponding recommendations.
