Collaboration Meeting with Defense Threat Reduction Agency

Spread the love

Promotion of chemical security is one of the advocacies of SPIK. We are proud to share the different activities and initiatives of SPIK in this area to our members, stakeholders, and partners from the government agencies. Over the years, SPIK was able to engage with international and local organizations for capacity and capability building on chemical security for our members.

We are in the forefront of promoting Responsible Care throughout our supply chain. Guided by the strategies of the Philippine Chemical Industry Roadmap (PCIR), we started the discussion with the Security & Elimination Cooperative Threat Reduction Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).

The meeting with Ms. Lauren Richardson of DTRA held last April 29, 2024 aims to align with their ongoing projects in the Philippines that will also  support the Safer Materials and Operations principle in the PCIR.
