02 Jul Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Celebrated 24th Founding Anniversary
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) celebrated its 24th Founding Anniversary last July 2, 2026, marking 24 years of steadfast commitment to combating illegal drugs in the Philippines. The anniversary carried the theme, “Pinalakas na Kampanya Laban sa Iligal na Droga, Tungo sa Ligtas na Bagong Pilipinas,” emphasizing the strengthened campaign against illegal drugs toward a safe and renewed Philippines. This theme highlighted the essential role of collaboration among various sectors in achieving a drug-free nation.

The event also featured an awards ceremony recognizing representatives from government agencies, local government units, civil society, professional organizations, notable individuals, and industry and media partners for their valuable contributions in supporting PDEA’s mission and fostering partnerships that advanced the campaign. Engr. Aldrich F. Bentilanon, President of Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK), received the recognition on behalf of the Association.

Through this significant gathering, PDEA and its partners reaffirmed their commitment to continue fighting against illegal drugs, ensuring public safety, and enabling sustainable community development for the future.
