Greetings from the ASCEND Program Team!

 

ASCEND (Accelerating Schools and Chemicals Industry Engagements for Nurturing Development) is a key initiative under the Academe-Industry Matching (AIM!) Program of the Board of Investments (BOI), implemented in partnership with the Samahan sa Pilipinas ng Industriyang Kimika (SPIK). It aims to foster structured, long-term partnerships between higher education institutions (HEIs) and the chemicals industry. To support this initiative, we are currently developing two key resources:

 

    • The ASCEND Playbook – a practical guide featuring frameworks, case studies, and policy recommendations for effective HEI–industry collaboration; and

 

    • The ASCEND Collaboration Platform – a digital hub that will support real-time engagement, partnership development, and knowledge sharing among stakeholders.

 

This form aims to capture a project idea initiated by the company for potential academe-industry collaboration. It gathers key information on the project’s objectives, technical scope, and support needs to help assess alignment with academic expertise and resources.
