The Environmental Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (EMB-DENR) conducted a Public Consultation on the Revision of DENR Administrative Order (DAO) No. 2003-14 (Creating the Philippine Environment Partnership Program (PEPP) to Support Industry Self-Regulation Towards Improved Environmental Performance) and EMB MC No. 2003-10 (Supplemental Guidelines to DAO 2003-14) on February 10, 2017 at Sequoia Hotel, Quezon City.

There are two categories in the PEPP, Track 1 and Track 2. The former refers to the category under the PEPP that deals with establishments with demonstrated superior environmental performance while Track 2 refers to the category under the PEPP that deals with establishments aiming for improved environmental performance but are not yet in full compliance with environmental laws, rules, and regulations.

The Ms. Michico Venus A. Navaluna, Head of EMB-PEPP presented the Revised PEPP Policy and Procedural Manual for Track 1 and Track 2 Program including the incentives and assistance that a company may get from participating in the said programs followed by an open forum after each presentation.

Participants were encouraged to submit position papers at info.pepp@gmail.com and angelito.perez@innogysolutions.com on or before February 24, 2017.
