The Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK) successfully conducted the Responsible Care Awareness in the Philippines dubbed as ReCAP 2024 on April 05, 2024. A total of 106 participants attended the webinar organized by the SPIK in partnership with the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines (PCAPI).

Responsible Care is the chemical industry’s voluntary initiative to improve environmental, health and safety performance. It has 7 Codes of Management Practices: Pollution Prevention, Employee Health and Safety, Product Stewardship, Process Safety, Community Awareness and Emergency Response, Distribution and Security.

Congratulations to the Responsible Care Council led by its RC Chairperson Engr. Reinier Jay Bagabay, Director. Engr. Albert Samuela,  to the esteemed speakers, Engr Joy Pena of Dow Chemicals Philippines, Engr. Gretchen F. Enarle of Atlantic Coatings, Inc., Ms. Janet Marcellana of Pilipinas Shell, Ms. Jenny Nunez of Diversey ( a Solenis Company), Ms. Dorris Torres of STAMM International, Ms. Maphel Lao of BASF Philippines and finally to Ms. Tonette Fallarme  and Ms. Charisse Balibay of SPIK Secretariat and Ms. Christine Vidallo of PCAPI Secretariat.
