The Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika Community Awareness and Emergency Response Seminar last May 25-26, 2017 at the Acacia Hotel in Alabang Muntinlupa.

This is a two-day seminar, on the first day, the discussion is on the overview of the Responsible Care by Ms. Cynthia Reyes. CAER Code overview by the RC Code Steward Ms. Dall Palisoc. Speakers from different government agencies like DENR-EIA, DOLE-OSHC and Bureau of Fire discussed on regulatory updates.

On the second day, the group had the Plant Tour in Rohm and Haas Phils., Inc. Speakers from Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation, D&L Industries, Inc., shared their best practices of their Community Awareness and Emergency Response Program in their companies.

The seminar was attended by fifty (50) participants from 25 member companies.
