A coordination meeting to discuss and amend the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Controlled Chemicals took place on December 16, 2024. This significant gathering was led by BOI Acting Director Ronaldo C. Buluran and included key individuals from DOST- ITDI, SPIK, and the Integrated Chemists of the Philippines (ICP).

The session aimed to outline the forthcoming tasks and establish a timeline for completing the amendment project. Prior to this, a strategic meeting with PNP-FEO, BOI, and SPIK officials had already been held to lay the groundwork for collaboration. This joint effort highlights the commitment of these organizations to enhance the regulatory framework surrounding controlled chemicals, ensuring safety and security in various industries.
