The three (3) day Workshop on Chemical Supply Chain Safety and Security Management was held on November 18- 20, 2019 in Bogor, Indonesia. It was attended by twenty seven (27) participants from Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines including resource speakers from Thailand, US Department of State Chemical Safety Engagement Program (US CSP) and Organisation for the Prohibitions of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The workshop was co-hosted by the National Authority and Ministry of Industry of Indonesia.

Resource speakers share on best practices on chemical safety and security management such as risk assessment, country and industry experiences in the implementation of safety and security measures, global chemical management, and responses to chemical accidents among others.

The Philippine delegates were composed of representatives from DOST- ITDI, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and SPIK. Participants had the chance to observe the implementation of chemical safety and security practices during the plant site visit to BASF Indonesia.
