The Officers of the Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK) had a courtesy visit to the office of the DTI- Strategic Trade Management Office (STMO) headed by Atty. Janice Sacedon-Dimayacyac, Director of the DTI – STMO

At the onset of the meeting, Engr. Gretchen F. Enarle provided an overview of the Philippine Chemical Industry Roadmap and some of the strategies in the attainment of its goals and targets. The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss areas of collaboration especially for the implementation of STMO’s policies and procedures covering the dual- use chemicals under the National Strategic Goods List (NSGL).

SPIK appreciates the issuance of Resolution 06 (2023): Approval of the regulatory jurisdiction between DTI-STMO and PNP-FEO on the items under the National Strategic Goods List Annexes 1 and 2 of R.A. 10697, also known as the Strategic Trade Management Act of 2015.
