On June 16, 2026, the ESG Committee, led by Chairperson Gretchen F. Enarle, convened to review significant progress on Responsible Care verification, policy development, and sustainability programs aimed at meeting the 2028 compliance deadline.

The session opened with an update on the Responsible Care trademark registration, which is expected to be finalized with the delivery of the official electronic copy. The Committee confirmed that three member companies are scheduled for verification in July, alongside additional verifications planned through the latter half of the year. Notably, companies that reach Phase 1, Stage B will be awarded the Responsible Care logo, underscoring their commitment to industry standards and excellence.

The meeting also addressed ongoing projects, including finalizing the Chemical Warehousing Guidance Manual and reviewing the Logistics Guidance Manual framework, both essential tools for member compliance and operational excellence. Additionally, the International Coastal Cleanup event was rescheduled to September 12, engaging several member companies in meaningful community outreach. The Committee concluded by reinforcing its commitment to driving sustainability and Responsible Care across all member organizations.
