Yet another milestone in enhancing partnership among key players in the local manufacturing sector, after the 19th IAC meeting held at DKSH Office. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Anabelle V. Briones, DOST ITDI Director and was highlighted by presentations conducted by Dr. Virginia M. Robledo from the Packaging Institute of the Philippines (PIP) and Mr. Danny Ngo of the Philippine Plastic Industry Association (PPIA).

Executive Director Maria Corazon Dichosa of the Board of Investments (BOI), Engr. Gretchen F. Enarle, the President of Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK), as well as the representatives from the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines (PCAPI), the Philippine Plastic Industry Association (PPIA), the Packaging Institute of the Philippines (PIP), and DOST were also present. The meeting’s purpose was to plan for the industry’s progression and how to align with the Department of Science and Technology’s programs. Dr. Briones also invited the IAC Members to the forthcoming 124th Founding Anniversary of DOST, which will be held at City of Dreams Manila. 

The IAC expressed its gratitude to DKSH Philippines and Engr. Aldrich Bentilanon for the generous provision of the meeting venue. Through this gathering of industry leaders and government officials, the Philippines demonstrates its firm commitment to innovation and sustainable growth.
