Responsible Care Verifiers Recognized at SPIK’s 175th GMM

The Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK) recently honored its newly accredited Responsible Care (RC) Verifiers at the 175th General Membership Meeting held on December 18, 2024. These individuals completed the rigorous RC Verifier’s Training Program, which concluded on November 8, 2024, under the guidance of Mr. Daniel Roczniak from the American Chemistry Council. The program aims to promote environmental, health, safety, and security (EHS&S) practices within the industry

Among the awardees were Bob Castrence from JG Summit Olefins Corp., Lyn Valdez of All Waste Services, Inc., Janet Marcellana from Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation, Jenny Nuñez of Diversey Philippines Inc., Reinier Jay Bagabay from Pigmentex, Inc., Albert Samuela from Nalco Philippines, Inc., and several others from distinguished organizations such as Jennelyn Cua and Cyrill Kris Dedase of Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines, Inc., Florita A. Dipon of Atlantic Coatings, Inc., Joy Peňa of Dow Chemical Philippines, Inc., Lorena Mosca of BASF Philippines, Inc., Glenda Aquino of Rezcoat, Inc., and Liam Derick Layog of DKSH Philippines, Inc. Their commitment to the RC initiative exemplifies their dedication to promoting sustainable practices within the chemical industry.

This recognition not only validates their competency but also highlights the importance of the RC program in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and Responsible Care among industry members.
