The 5th Meeting of the Technical Working Group on the ASEAN-Japan chemical Safety Database (TWG-AJCSD) was held in Bali, Indonesia last July 17, 2019.

One of the major highlights in the discussion is the additional feature of the AJCSD. Mr. Yoshihito Masaki of the National Institute of Testing and Evaluation (NITE) presented the revisions of the chemical management platform of AJCSD.

The Meeting was participated by government and industry representatives from the ASEAN Member States, namely; Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Ms. Dolores Reyes of the DTI- BOI and Ms. Janet Marcellana, Ms. Gretchen Fontejon- Enarle and Mr. Romeo Imperial as industry representatives.

The AJCSD is a Project supported by the AMEICC Working Group- Chemical Industry.
