On 24 March 2026, the Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC), together with Reach24h Consulting Group sponsored an informative webinar on the recent updates to China’s regulations concerning hazardous chemicals. This presentation, delivered by Ms. Ivy Sun of Reach24h, highlighted the wide range of changes made to China’s regulatory environment intended to enhance safety and clean up the environment.

Ms. Sun discussed recent changes affecting chemical manufacturers, importers, and distributors and emphasized legal compliance with new laws and standards in China. Participants learned effective risk management techniques, and they will carry this knowledge and practice forward to ensure their new work remains up to date and complies with Chinese laws and standards.

The webinar provided industry members with the needed information to gain insights on regulatory change for effective regulation and how to implement its impacts and process and implementation process in the sector better. SCIC and Reach24h jointly work to help keep chemical companies updated on major sector-related regulatory developments in areas such as China’s major markets, the environment, and the most sensitive areas for the chemical industry.
